Program Objective
To prepare students to work as a professional nail technician and successfully obtain the Florida State license upon completion of the program.
Requirements for Application
Applicants for the Facial Specialist program must meet the following admission requirements:

Must be 18 years old by the time of graduation from the program.

If under 18, applicant must complete the admissions process with a parent or guardian.

Diplomas from outside the United States must be translated and evaluated to show equivalency of high school diplomas.
Program Description
This program of study is designed to provide students with the skills to beautify the hands and feet through shaping nails, conditioning the cuticle, the application of nail polish, the application of hands and feet massage, etc. It also includes the repairing of damaged or broken nails through wrapping or mending and the performing of the different kinds of sculptured nails with or without tips. This program provides hands-on learning and practice.
Requirements for Graduation
To graduate from the Nail Technician program, students must:

Complete a total of 184 hours of theory and clinical practice.

Passing all courses with 75% (C) or more.

Meeting all financial obligations with the school.
Upon completion of the program the student will receive a diploma
DISCLOSURE: Students may begin working in their field of training as soon as a diploma is received and state certification is passed.

HAE 100 – HIV/AIDS

This course is designed to provide the necessary information concerning HIV/AIDS and the medical worker. Students will learn the history of HIV/AIDS, procedures and protocols required for caring for HIV/AIDS patients, the pathology of the disease and the expectations, objectives of clinical management that is standard for HIV/AIDS patients.
